Challenges and Opportunities for Radiation Oncology Residency Programs During the 2020-2021 Virtual Residency Match

In our previous study,1 we reported the underutilization of social media (SM) resources among radiation oncology (RO) residency programs in anticipation of the COVID-driven 2020 to 2021 virtual residency match. However, it remains unknown whether SM utilization among RO residency programs has since improved. Additionally, it is unclear whether individual SM platforms offer the same value in guiding applicants in program selection.
