UT-Austin gets $900,000 for cancer research in latest CPRIT grants

The University of Texas in Austin fetched just $900,000 in funds for research out of $111.4 million in awards announced Wednesday by the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas. The 54 grants comprised four product development grants totaling $48.5 million and 51 grants for academic cancer research totaling $62.9 million.
