Atlanta ' s Imhotep Academy Voted National Winner of the Colgate Bright Smiles Kids Awards

Baseball Legend and Celebrated Closer Mariano Rivera Emcees First-Ever Virtual EventNEW YORK, May 12, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- With a snappy song, dance, and enthusiasm to spare, the Imhotep Academy in Atlanta, GA charmed voters today and took home the title of national winner at the first-ever virtual Colgate Bright Smiles Kids Awards. Hosted by Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Futures® (BSBF), with baseball legend Mariano Rivera serving as emcee, the Bright Smiles Kids Awards unleashed the creativity of children aged 6-14 and encouraged them to become champions of their own health. Videos from the Awards ' regional winners were featured during the program. A live public vote selected Imhotep Academy as the overall winner and recipient of a $5,000 grant.
