Gout treatment success doubled by combining two drugs, study finds
(Michigan Medicine - University of Michigan) If left untreated, gout can cause severe disability. But unlike rheumatoid arthritis, there are only a handful of ways to treat it. Researchers say a combination of two existing drugs disrupts antibody production and doubles treatment efficacy.
