Systematic review of the treatment with pessaries in the pelvic organ prolapse (POP).

CONCLUSIONS: The pessary produces positive effects on the quality of life of women with POP, with good satisfaction rates. The main reasons for the interruption include: inability to retain the pessary, discomfort, and the desire for surgery.PMID:33818427
