Distribution of integrons and phylogenetic groups among Escherichia coli causing community-acquired urinary tract infection in Upper Egypt
In conclusion, the types and combinations of the gene cassettes in our study may reflect the specific selective pressures to which the isolates were subjected within the study region, therefore, providing valuable data for future intervention strategies that are precisely tailored to prevent the dissemination of the uropathogenic E. coli strains circulating within Upper Egypt.
