Impact of intravenous antihypertensives on outcomes among hospitalized patients

CONCLUSION: Treating hypertension in the in-patient setting remains complex. Rapid lowering of blood pressure can cause harm to patients, and this study showed that antihypertensive medication increased hospital length of stay.
