Outcomes of Sleep Apnea Surgery in Outpatient and Inpatient Settings
CONCLUSIONS: This retrospective study found that the complications and 30-day readmission rates after airway surgery for OSA are low. There were no significant differences in the composite outcome of 30-day readmissions, reoperations, or complications between inpatient and outpatient settings. Adequately designed prospective studies are necessary to confirm the retrospective observations of this study.PMID:33857963 | DOI:10.1213/ANE.0000000000005394
