Clinical Course of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis according to Initial Symptoms: An Analysis of 500 Cases

CONCLUSION: Inappropriate operations significantly delayed the diagnosis of ALS. Respiratory difficulty can account for a significant proportion among initial presentations in ALS.
