In This Issue of Occupational Medicine

This issue ofOccupational Medicine, the journal of the Society of Occupational Medicine (SOM), continues to reflect society ’s concerns (both the SOM and our society more generally) about the direct and indirect effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. But the good news is that there is also editorial space in the journal to include more traditional concerns of occupational medicine, such as traumatic brain injuries in firefi ghters and health risks to information technology workers. Hopefully, this return to a broader OM focus heralds a turning point in the pandemic and an approaching normalcy, albeit slower than many of us would have hoped.
