Public Inspection: FCC: Privacy Act; Matching Program

Pre-publication notice from the Federal Communications Commission seeking comment on the modification of computer matching programs between the Federal Communications Commission and the Puerto Rico Department of the Family. The purpose of these matching programs is to verify the eligibility of applicants to and subscribers of the Universal Service Fund (USF) Lifeline program and the new Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBBP). The EBBP was created specifically to assist American families' access to broadband during the COVID-19 pandemic. Comments are due within 30 days of this notice, which is scheduled for April 6, 2021. This matching program will begin 30 days after the publication of this notice and will last 18 months.
