Reply to the Editor —Electrophysiologic Study in Women with Brugada Syndrome

We thank Belhassen and Conte for their interest in our study.1 We agree with all points raised in their letter. As they remark, the results of our study are in line with previous data, once again emphasizing the rarity of malignant event occurrence. This finding is somewhat encouraging for patients with Brugada syndrome (BrS) and their treating physicians. Additionally, there are discernible gender differences related to the frequency of ventricular fibrillation (VF) inducibility and the incidence of spontaneous type 1 electrocardiogram pattern.
