ConclusionMDB is benign in most cases. However, it is not to be taken lightly, because it can be the manifestation of an underlying disease such as breast cancer. The diagnosis is based on clinical findings; ultrasonography can be helpful for the diagnosis. Treatment is based on analgesic and anti-inflammatory drugs.
