Modafinil decreased thalamic activation in auditory emotional processing: A randomized controlled functional magnetic resonance imaging study

CONCLUSIONS: Our findings suggest that modafinil could act on the right thalamus, changing the behavior and brain function associated with auditory emotional processing.
