COVID-19 Vaccination: Administration, Adverse Reactions, and Contraindications

The world — and the United States — has been battling the COVID-19 pandemic for over a year now. The latest step in that battle, COVID-19 vaccines are currently being administered to millions of Americans who choose to be vaccinated. As of March 2021, there are three vaccines in the United States that hav e been granted Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. These products were granted EUAs in December 2020 and March 2021 and are manufactured by Pfizer and BioNTech, Moderna, and Janssen Companies of Johnson& Johnson.
