Former or present medicine students, answer this!

Thread Starter Former or present medicine students, answer this! Follow 4 hours ago 4h ago So I am starting medicine and was wondering which device would be the best for use? Im aware we would have clinical placements so a laptop wouldn't be the best option there. With iPad you get to do note-taking in lecture and at placements. I also learn better by note-taking. But screen time does build stress and could worsen my eyesight even more But a laptop is better for writing up essays, researching, opening certain files. I am fine with pen-paper style, but again as medicine has lots of notes, i think managing would be better in iPad? Then again its all in the cloud for iPad right? So the fear of losing my hard-written notes is terrifying. So if there any medicine students, former or present, what would you say is the best device for revision as well as essays and note taking in the medical school journey? Thanks
