Effect of mobile health based peripartum management of gestational diabetes mellitus on postpartum diabetes: a randomized controlled trial
Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM), defined as abnormal glucose tolerance with onset during pregnancy, is one of the most common metabolic disorder in pregnancy [1]. Over the last decades, the prevalence of GDM has increased worldwide, and across China. It is reported that the total GDM incidence rate in mainland China was 14.8% [2]. And following the implementation of the two-child policy in China in 2016, women giving birth are were more likely to be relatively old (aged 35 or over), which has contributed to an increase in GDM incidence rate in all regions in China [3, 4].
