Endovascular therapy for large iatrogenic inferior epigastric pseudoaneurysm
A 31-year-old man presented with worsening left lower quadrant pain. Four months prior, he had undergone total proctocolectomy for obstructing rectal cancer complicated by hemoperitoneum secondary to injury to the left inferior epigastric artery (IEA) from drain placement. Fascial defect and area of bleeding was surgically over sewn using multiple sutures. His past medical history was significant for ulcerative colitis. He is a former smoker.
