Asherman's Syndrome after Uterine Artery Embolization. A case of embolic spheres displacement inside the uterine cavity.

Uterine myomas represent the most common uterine neoplasm and they occur in approximately 70% of women of reproductive age [1]. Although Uterine Artery Embolization (UAE) has been demonstrated to be a safe and effective treatment for women who wish to preserve the uterus [2], growing evidence is showing it has a worse outcome than myomectomy on fertility [3,4]. Among the possible adverse effects of UAE on fertility, intrauterine adhesions formation has been reported [5].
