Liberia: 'We Employed Many of the Lessons We Learned Fighting Ebola in Our Covid-19 Response'

[World Bank] The West African country of Liberia has worked hard to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, drawing lessons from the Ebola crisis in 2014--2016. It was one of the first countries to go into lockdown and enforce strict social distancing. It has also made good use of its mHero mobile app which connects the government directly with frontline health workers to strengthen real-time information sharing across key actors and government decision making and responsiveness.
