48-Year-Old Woman With Dyspnea and Chest Pain

A 48-year-old woman presented for evaluation of a 1-week history of progressive dyspnea and chest pain. She had a history of Burkitt lymphoma, treated with chemoradiation therapy, at the age of 6. She was a never smoker. She was not on any prescription medications until 3 weeks before this presentation, when she was diagnosed with unprovoked bilateral pulmonary emboli and was initiated on apixaban. The computed tomography (CT) angiogram of the chest also noted new bilateral subcentimeter pulmonary nodules.
