Venatorx adds potential chronic hepatitis B treatment to its pipeline

A Chester County pharmaceutical company said Wednesday it has selected a clinical candidate it intends to develop as a treatment for chronic hepatitis B virus infections. Venatorx Pharmaceuticals, an antibiotic developer that was founded in 2010 and is based in Malvern, has long had hepatitis B on its list of targets.
