Prevalence of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease among patients with non-diabetic chronic kidney disease detected by transient elastography
ConclusionA high frequency of NAFLD (56%) was observed among the patients with non-diabetic CKD on hemodialysis and patients with pre-dialysis CKD. NAFLD may be associated with an increased liver stiffness grade and CVD among those patients.
