Reply to Letter to the Editor: Staged repair of proximal hypospadias-Reporting outcome of staged tubularized autograft repair (STAG)

Thank you for the valuable comments and suggestions. We strongly believe that glanular dehiscence is more related to glanular size rather than to the fixation of the glans and catheter to abdominal wall. Yet, we support the catheter dorsally by the traction glanular stitch which is rolled around the catheter to prevent any pressure on suture lines however, glanular dehiscence still happens. All the important fine remarks stated by the authors to improve the technique are used in our practice repairing proximal cases of hypospadias.
