Liver abscess caused by Candida haemulonii var. vulnera. First case report in Peru

CONCLUSIONS: To our knowledge, this is the first case reported in Peru of a liver abscess due to Candida haemulonii var. vulnera, a clinical presentation that has not been described previously.
