They're Dying: Now What? Improving Nursing Knowledge and Self-Efficacy in End-Of-Life Care (QI702)

29.4% of deaths occur inpatient. Dying patients have higher physical and emotional discomfort, lower quality of life, and prolonged grieving amongst caregivers. In an acute care hospital, lack of knowledge and confidence was revealed in providing care to patients at end of life. Research is sparse in providing effective intervention to improve end-of-life care.
