Interferon lambda 4 genotype and pathway in alcoholic hepatitis.
CONCLUSIONS: The IFN lambda 4 pathway seems involved in the acute disease processes of alcoholic hepatitis and patients without IFN lambda expression seem to have a short-term survival benefit.
