QTc in Diabetic Ketoacidosis

I read with interest the retrospective observational study by Perez et al where the authors had demonstrated a significant association between QTc intervals and diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) severity.(1) Although their point on appropriate cardiac monitoring in moderate or severe DKA is well taken, several observations are noteworthy.
