Hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) is a well-established and potentially curative treatment that is associated with short- and long-term challenges. Patients commonly experience a decline in physical fitness during their admission and recovery that affects their quality of life.1,2 Prolonged hospitalization increases the risk of immobility-associated complications and health care cost.3
