In this study, the success rate and complication rate after the second stage repair which constructed the new urethra were 58.6% and 43.2%, respe ctively. Fistula formation and glanular dehiscence (GD) after second stage repair were the most common complications with a rate of 21.6% and 24.3%, respectively. Additionally, the authors stated that four patients who developed GD underwent repair for GD, and there were no successful outcomes in th ree of these patients [1].
