Three-dimensional double-echo steady-state with water excitation magnetic resonance imaging to localize the intraparotid facial nerve in patients with deep-seated parotid tumors

ConclusionBy direct visualization of the facial nerve, the 3D-DESS-WE sequence improved the preoperative localization of the intraparotid facial nerve in deep-seated parotid tumors. This information may help better surgical planning for deep-seated parotid tumors.
