CONCLUSIONS AND SIGNIFICANCE: Post-lingual AHL subjects with high average hearing asymmetry can benefit from CI in the worse ear, while CI outcomes can be adversely influenced by HTD-Both and age at implantation both in the short- and long-term follow-up.
