Appraising the Quality of Reporting of American College of Surgeons NSQIP Emergency General Surgery Studies

The methodological reporting of emergency general surgery studies using the American College of Surgeons NSQIP database is suboptimal despite journal policies requiring authors to adhere to reporting statements. There is no difference in the quality of reporting between journals with high vs low impact factors.
