CONCLUSIONS: Similar performance metrics and equivalent parameters obtained from comparisons between the atrous networks and vendor tool show that segmentation with the modified, atrous DCNN is applicable for automated LV chamber quantification and subsequent strain analysis in cardiotoxicity.
