Hip, Hip, Hurrah!

In the sports medicine world, you are either a “hipster” or you are not. If you are not, you need to have one (or more) of them on your team, and you need to know enough about the hip to know who to refer. This issue of Clinics in Sports Medicine is primarily focused on us “nonhipsters,” and it is hoped, will make us just a little bit sm arter in the eyes of the true “hipsters.” It is also an update and treatise on athletic hip injuries for those of us who take care of these problems, and all aspiring “hipsters” out there.
