The   Centre for Evidence Synthesis in Global Health has led developments in systematic reviews in tropical medicine and international health. In the 1990s, staff contributed to setting up Cochrane, and established theCochrane Infectious Diseases Group (CIDG). This is now recognised as one of Cochrane ’s premier groups, with over 150 Cochrane reviews and 600 authors, and is well-linked with the World Health Organization.
