Association between allergic diseases and epilepsy: A systematic review and meta-analysis.

CONCLUSION: Our findings suggest that patients with allergic diseases might have a high risk of epilepsy. Additional high-quality primary studies are required to confirm the association, obtain information regarding the mechanism of association, and determine prevention opportunities.
