Actinomyces osteomyelitis Cases at Mandible Location

Actinomycosis is a slowly progressing infection caused by Actinomyces species, which are gram-positive anaerobic bacillus. Actinomyces osteomyelitis is a rare condition in head and neck, often occurs after tooth extraction and trauma or surgery in jaw.
