Clover Health shares fall 12% on report it misled investors

San Francisco insurance technology company Clover Health was hit hard Thursday with a damning report by a short seller accusing it and Chamath Palihapitiya of misleading investors. Clover (NASDAQ: CLOV) stock dropped more than 12% on the news, ending the day at $12.23.
