Intranasal diffuse large B-cell lymphoma of immunoblastic type with extensive osteolysis in a dog

This report describes a rare case of nasal lymphoma in a dog. A stray dog was presented with a swollen snout showing ulcerations and sanguinopurulent discharges. Cytological evaluation of fine-needle aspiration specimens revealed discrete round cell tumor presumed as B-cell lymphoma. Histopathological examination and immunohistochemistry staining of biopsy confirmed diffuse large B-cell lymphoma of immunoblastic type. This case is one of the rare reports of nasal lymphoma in dogs and the first immunoblastic type. Our finding emphasizes the significance of considering lymphoma in differential diagnosis of nasal tumors in dogs.
