Letter to the editor “Lateral extra-articular tenodesis in patients with revision anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction and high-grade anterior knee instability. [The Knee 27 (2020) 1451–1457]”

We want to congratulate Alm et al. [1] on the publication of their study, “Lateral extra-articular tenodesis (LET) in patients with revision anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction and high-grade anterior knee instability.” In this retrospective study, the authors concluded that additional modified Lemaire procedure in patients with revision ACL reconstruction (ACLR) and high-grade anterior instability significantly reduces the risk of failure of revision ACLR, the incidence of pivot-shift and increases postoperative functional outcome.
