Conclusion: These findings reveal detailed information regarding CNS-cardiorespiratory interactions during sleep and provide new insights into understanding of sleep control mechanisms. Significance: Our approach may facilitate the investigation of the pathological cardiorespiratory complications of sleep disorders.
