Studying and treating COVID-19's long-term impact

(Rush University Medical Center) A CDC-funded study will longitudinally track the clinical, physical and mental functioning -- including neuro-cognition and fatigue - of nearly 5000 COVID patients for two years to better assess the long-term outcomes of the disease. Eight academic medical centers will use a unique digital platform that produces real-time data, analysis, and reporting compared to more traditional approaches.
