Phenotypic characterization of frontal cortex microglia in a rat model of post ‐traumatic stress disorder

ConclusionPsychological trauma impacts the immunological phenotype of microglia of the frontal cortex. Consequently, future studies should further evaluate the mechanistic role of microglia in PTSD pathology.
