Unconjugated bilirubin is associated with protection from early-life wheeze and childhood asthma

Unconjugated bilirubin and its related metabolites exhibited a protective association with early life wheeze and asthma, and was negatively correlated with lipid mediators, suggesting potential pathways through which bilirubin protects against early-life wheeze and asthma.
