Vibrio cholerae biofilm scaffolding protein RbmA shows an intrinsic, phosphate ‐dependent autoproteolysis activity
In conclusion, our biophysical study characterizes a novel phosphate ‐dependent breakdown pathway of RbmA, while microbiological data suggest a new, sensory role of this biofilm scaffolding element.
