Current and Future Burden of Periprosthetic Joint Infection from National Claim Database.

CONCLUSION: The incidence of PJI in Korea is comparable with reported PJI incidence of 2.0%-2.7% in the United States. Our findings would be used for worldwide comparison of PJI epidemiology and establishment of healthcare policies for PJI in East Asia.
