Psychiatric comorbidities did not influence remission and response rates in patients treated with transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) for major depressive disorder

Background: There is debate about Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) efficacy in clinical settings among Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) patients with various comorbidities. We investigated whether remission and response rates differed in patients with comorbidities of generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), persistent depressive disorder (PDD), and borderline personality disorder (BPD).
