Why Positive Thinking Won ’t Make You Happy

We are often told that thinking positively can have a life-changing effect on us and be a catalyst for lasting happiness. While thinking positively is a great start, it is not really the ‘answer’ to achieving lasting happiness.  That’s because true happiness isn’t a fleeting feeling or emotion, it is already within us. It’s the energy of our true essence; our soul. Therefore, to attain true happiness we need to access our ‘soul feelings’. Soul feelings do not fluctuate or change. They, like our soul itself, are constant and eternal. Feelings and emotions that are associated with our thoughts (positive or negative) fluctuate and change all the time. They are not constant, perpetual or eternal.  This is how you know that they are not true or real. This includes feelings derived from positive thinking (which we often mistake for true happiness).   Anything created from the mind is temporary because the mind itself is temporary.  Where the soul is eternal, the mind is not.  The soul is true, raw love energy while the mind is often controlled by fear-based energy.  Fear-based energy only exists in the 3rd dimension/physical world which is why it is not eternal.
