Everyone ’s breasts get lumpy when they’re nursing a newborn, right? That’s what Leslie McGuire, age 30, thought to herself in 2014.
“Breastfeeding wasn’t easy for me, and I had a lot of breast changes after my pregnancy, so when I felt a lump, I just assumed it must be related to that,” says t he Kansas City, Missouri, resident.
